Society for Agricultural Research & Management (SARM) believes in recognizing the best brains in the sector and help in booming them. SARM has initiated various Awards to search and recognize individuals for their significant contribution and dedicated service to humanity, groundbreaking research, and innovations, extraordinary leadership, excellence in practicing various subjects of science and medicines. Academic Awards

(Self Nomination)

 Young Scientist Award

Young Scientist Award is initiated to recognize, encourage and promote young Scientists,who are in the mid phase of their career. We are happy to encourage and recognize the Young Scientists that will help and motivate them to engage more in deep research and product development in the respective sectors. 

Eligibility:
The SARM Young Scientist Award welcomes all Researchers (Preferably PhD, Post Doc) working in the Agricultural & allied sectors. All the candidates should have minimum of 5 to Max 10 years of research experience and with 10+ publications (Journal) will be given more preference.

Basis of Judgement:
Nominated candidates need to present their talk for 20-25 minutes during Agri Vision Conference in front of the expert panel. Selection will be based on the individual accomplishments, quality & standards of the research, Nobel thought, Unique Research methodologies, new ideas, style of presentation, Significance of the contribution to the field, originality, clarity, and future extended scope of the research and probability of bringing the research in terms of products/services into the public domain.

We invite online applications from desired candidates, self-nomination or nominated by organizations (both private & public sectors).

Eligibility Requirement: Life Membership Status

The following condition is mandatory for eligibility for the award:

  • Life Membership: The nominating individual must hold a Life Membership status with the Society for Agricultural Research & Management on or before the application deadline.

  • Non-Transferable: Only individuals that are active Life Members will be considered for this award category.

  Women Researcher Award

Award is to recognize and celebrate the achievements of successful, aspiring & rising Women Researchers who inspire young researchers to chose Research as their passion and innovate products for the betterment of the society. They should be innovative, self-oriented, dynamic and innovative in their thoughts and actions.

Eligibility:

Ph.D with minimum 5 years of research experience in Agriculture or allied sector supported by minimum 15 publications in reputed journals. Any innovative products, patents or discoveries with commercial potential will get an added advantage.

Contributions are demonstrated through technical originality, ways of presentations, Quality of Research, Presentation clarity based on the abstract, Novelty of Research, Uniqueness of research methodology, innovative ideas, Impact of the research in the field and future extended scope of the research including practical viability of the R&D in terms of product development.

 Young Agri Investigator Award

The aim of this award is to recognize individuals’ accomplishments via oral sessions presentations. Original research papers, projects, strategies/practices bringing a positive change in the society will be given preference. Outstanding paper will be selected among all the presentations at the conferences, evaluated by the expert committee.

Eligibility:
SARM Research Wizard Award is for the entire individuals participating in Oral Presentation Sessions of Agri Vision-2024. There will be a speaking slot of maximum 25-30 minutes which will be evaluated by the expert review committee. The presenting author should be the first authors and supporting authors should not have any objection over the data and information to be presented at the respective conferences.

Basis of Judgement:
Contributions are demonstrated through technical originality, ways of presentations, Quality of Research, Presentation clarity based on the abstract, Novelty of Research, Uniqueness of research methodology, innovative ideas, Impact of the research in the field and future extended scope of the research including practical viability of the R&D in terms of product development.

We invite online applications from desired candidates, self-nomination or nominated by colleagues and/or head of the institutions.

Presentation:
This award will be presented at Agri Vision-2024

Prize:
SARM will recognize the awardee(s) with a memento, & Certificate of Appreciation followed by a special incentive for the next chapter of the conference, an opportunity to serve as Editorial Board Member/Review of the supporting journals, 4 free publications in a year in any of our Journals.

 Agri Innovation Award

The aim of this award is to recognize budding young minds particularly Bachelors and Masters students who are very inclined towards R&D activities in the sector. They should be innovative, self-oriented, dynamic and innovative in their thoughts and actions. The jewels are selected based on their presentations (both oral and poster). All presentations will be evaluated by the internal expert committee and winner will be declared at Agri Vision-2023 event.

Eligibility:
Any Graduate/post graduate students are eligible for this award. Nominees should present their research or idea in terms of Oral/Poster in front of the expert panel screened via questionnaire round. The presenting author will be given preference and should not have any conflicts of interest with other co-workers or team mates.

The Agri Bright Scholar Award is designed to recognize and support the most meritorious and promising students who are dedicated to academic excellence and future leadership in Agriculture and Allied Sciences at both the Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) levels.

Best Oral Presentation Award is initiated to recognize, encourage and promote young researchers, research scholars who are in the early phase of their career. We are happy to encourage and appreciate the scholars that will help and motivate them to engage more in deep research and product development in the respective sectors. We at Agri Vision Conference provide the best platform to present and share their ideas in front of global experts and network with other colleagues.

Eligibility:
The SARM Best Oral Presentation Award welcomes all the research scholars (Preferably PhD, Post Doc, and Post Graduates & Graduates) working in the respective sectors. SARM Best Poster Award is to recognize the best poster presented at Agri Vision This Award seeks to encourage and motivate Researchers, Research scholars, and Faculty members for their dedication and achievement in the field.

Eligibility:
The SARM Best Poster Award is for the individuals participating in Poster Presentation Sessions of Agri Vision Conference. The posters will be evaluated by the expert committee. The presenting author should be the first authors and supporting authors should not have any objection over the data and information to be cited in the poster.

The basis for Judging:
Posters will be evaluated based on the parameters such as; Clarity, Originality, importance and timeliness, organization of written material, lucidity, conciseness, the future scope of the research, practical viability of innovation, and ability to answer the questions put by the review panel.

This Award is to recognize and celebrate the achievements of, aspiring innovators in the sector whose journey would inspire more budding minds to follow their own dreams and create a new ray of hope in society through their innovation and enable them to solve the root cause/challenges the Agriculture sector is facing.

Eligibility:
Any innovators are eligible for this award. Nominees should present their idea inform of a demo/ presentation in front of an expert panel, and address the unmet need the innovation is solving for society, the practical feasibility of the idea, and how it will empower society. Any patent, product, or idea with economical and social benefits will be given preference.

Basis of Judgement:
Innovation should be able to demonstrate the problems it is solving, its economic viability, its social benefits, and commercialization possibility.   Padmashree Dr. Ajay Kumar Parida Life Time Achievement Award

This award is not included in self-nomination. It will be nominated by the committee.

This is an Honorary Award in the loving memory of Padmashree Dr. Ajay Kumar Parida, Former Director, of the Institute of Life Sciences, Bhubaneswar. The Awards is established to recognize an individual (s) for their significant contribution in the field of Life Science and allied sectors. They are recognized for their service to society, excellence in practice, innovative research that leads to products or coming up with a solution, and leadership quality in the sector. We at are proud to recognize your service, which has significantly impacted the lives of individuals, changed society, and motivated many young researchers to follow your path.   Dr. Sabuj Sahoo Memorial Award

This award is not included in self-nomination. It will be nominated by the committee.

The Awards is established to recognize an individual (s) for their significant contribution in the Agriculture and Allied fields. They are recognized for their service to society, excellence in practice, innovative research that leads to products or coming up with a solution, and leadership quality in the sector. We at are proud to recognize your service, which has significantly impacted the lives of individuals, changed society, and motivated many young researchers to follow your path. Your philosophy has changed the way of thinking and provoked budding minds to bring a change in society and show individuals a brighter path ahead. This award is in memory of our beloved founding member Dr. Sabuj Sahoo from Utkal University, who is no more with us as a part of the COVID-19 scenario.

Eligibility:
This Memorial Award is open to all Individuals who contributed significantly to the Agriculture sector and engage themselves in new innovations, solutions, and product development. Candidate for this award should have a minimum of 15+ years of experience in core research in a relevant field. The Awards is established to recognize an individual (s) for their ideas and innovations that has ability to change the society and create an impact in farmer’s lively hood. They are very unique and successfully running their business in Agriculture and allied sectors. They have created a milestone in transforming the agri economy, they have employed semi-skilled personalities, created a job pool and overall transformed the live of people. They are very innovative in agri business ideas, role models and has the ability to transform the society.  

  • Individuals and companies for their innovations in the agriculture and food sectors. presented to those who have developed unique business models, sustainable solutions, and impactful technologies that benefit farmers, the economy, and society.
  • The awards aim to encourage and showcase innovative solutions in technology, processing, and farming techniques

Woman Entrepreneur Award

Women Entrepreneur Award is to recognize and celebrate the achievements of successful, aspiring & rising Women Entrepreneurs whose journey would inspire more women to follow their own dreams and create a new ray of hope in the society.

Eligibility:
Entrepreneurs who have successfully started and are running an innovative, for profit business, for at least 2-3 years. The Awardees are chosen by our Jury, from among Nominations received and evaluated based on a stringent criteria. Additional weightage for the Agri allied enterprises and enterprises creating a distinguishable milestone for a sustainable society.

  • Each registered person against nomination will get an Oral slot to speak where they can present their ideas/ research/viewpoints/ company business etc.
  • Only one nomination per person is allowed, hence select the most appropriate one
  • If multiple nominations are received for a single person, only one as per our choice will be selected and others will be rejected.
  • One can self-nominate or nominate others also.
  • Business person nomination should be supported with personal as well as company profiles.
