Biography

Dr. Pratap Bhattacharyya born in Bhatpara, 24 Parganas (North), West Bengal on 16 June 1973. Educated at Bhatpara Amar Krishna Pathsala, 1983-89; Naihati Narendra Vidyaneketan, 1989-1991; Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya, Nadia, 1991-95; Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi, 1996-2001; B.Sc. (Ag), 1995; M.Sc., 1998; Ph.D., 2001.

Tejwani Award (Biennium 2012-2013) by the society “Association of Soil and Water Conservationists” 2014; Editorial Board member (2016) of JISSS.
